Crosby Stills and Nash and of course Memories

I was sitting here at the computer thinking of songs to make a video to when I came upon some of the music I put on hold when the Tragic Prince was so prominent in my days. He can't hear the tones that make some of the greatest music great. For that reason I subjected myself to his brash metal music to the neglect of my own favorites. Granted, I made some new favorites out of the music he shared with me, but the classics still make me shiver when I hear them. For example, I clicked on Long Time Gone by these guys, CSN. The opening organ causes my heart to implode. (Click on Picture to hear it) Its so seminal to who I am. I can hear the whole of the Viet Nam war occur through those few notes as well as my first love as a teenager go screaming through my mind. Its incredible.

I so love this album. I even used the cover in a photo I took in a photobooth at a the Koln train station. If you look close at the left column of pictures in the photo you can see the front and back of the album as I hold it up. I bought it at Saturn, at that time one of the biggest record stores in Europe.

"I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are." Its just who I am.
